Turning Heads this Halloween

Objective

Launch Rimmel’s Halloween product line and drive frequency.

Strategy

Develop accessible and attainable looks for Gen Zs to replicate for their Halloween look.

With its increasing popularity, Halloween has become the event of the year for skilful makeup and hair artists to show off their imagination and skills.

We built two looks around the launch of Rimmel’s Halloween product line up – Ink Me Tattoos and new nail varnish Super Gel Shades. Both looks were trend led and highlighted the unique product benefits of using Rimmel’s Ink Me Tattoos and makeup to create Instagramable looks that are easy for our Gen-Z audience to recreate.

Go beyond

James Molloy, International Global Ambassador for Rimmel, helped us bring to life two different and unique looks – turn heads play tricks and step into a new world – with Rimmel’s make up range. We created video tutorials, social shots and step-by-step copy for each look to be rolled out across retailer social channels and in-store alongside Rimmel’s social channels.

Increase penetration of Rimmel’s new and existing products at Christmas.

Strategy

Festive makeup is a huge part of getting in the spirit – especially for Rimmel’s core audience: Gen Z.

From glitterball glam to winter chic, we created three stand-out party looks to inspire Gen Z to show off their festive makeup flare.

We worked with James Molloy, Rimmel’s International Global Ambassador, to bring each ultimate party look to life through a series of video tutorials.

Oh my glitter

Off the back of our tutorials, we created a whole suite of social content, digital assets and POS designs to be rolled out globally – in time for the party season to start.
